Hafjell ski resort map
Find your way around the resort village: ski hire, cafés, après-ski, shops, transport and everyday essentials. For ski runs and lifts, use the official piste map.
Open Hafjell’s current official piste map
Hafjell’s current map resource is on Alpinco’s operator website. It links the live piste view and the opening report. Use this rather than an old resort-directory image when planning the day’s skiing.
Official resources checked on 22 October 2026. The former hafjell.no piste-map address redirects to Alpinco.
Which part of Hafjell should you locate first?
The bottom area around Knerten: useful for village-level family facilities and lessons meeting near the Family Lift. Gondoltoppen / Favn: the mountain meeting area reached by gondola, with learner terrain and services near its arrival. Gaiastova: a different upper-area reference, not another name for the gondola’s bottom station.
The operator’s area guide locates these facilities. Use the map to decide which access point fits your accommodation and party, rather than assuming every property advertised as Hafjell is beside the same snow front.
Where do lessons meet?
Check whether the booking specifies the bottom Family Lift or the gondola-top meeting area. Hafjell’s group-course page offers these different meeting locations, subject to availability. A lesson at the top requires time for the ascent before the start.
For a first-timer, this matters more than tracing the longest descent. Choose suitable learning terrain and a manageable return; downloading or taking a bus can be the sensible alternative to a route above the skier’s ability.
Where are the current lift openings?
Use the live-map link on the piste-map page together with the winter operating-hours page. Early-season availability can be partial. A diagram of the full mountain does not show that every family facility or evening session is operating on your date.
How do you reach the correct base without a car?
Use Lillehammer as the rail interchange, then search for the actual Hafjell stop. The operator’s travel guide directs visitors to Entur for the dated train and bus journey. Hafjell Alpinsenter, Øyer and an upper-mountain accommodation stop are not interchangeable destinations.
The transport page contains seasonal bus material, including summer and previous-winter information. Use the journey planner for your dates rather than copying an old timetable into a new holiday plan. Confirm the final accommodation transfer when staying away from the main base.
Is SlopeFinder’s map a piste map?
No. Our geographic view helps explore the area and nearby community-listed places. It does not replace the operator’s piste diagram, official open-run report or mountain signage. A location pin for a café or rental shop also does not establish its current opening hours.
