Geneva is the nearby international gateway for this route. Your precise Morzine address and winter traffic affect the final transfer time.

A rounded UK direct-flight planning estimate. London services are often shorter; northern UK departures can take longer. Times are approximate planning figures, not a measured average across every UK airport. Road times exclude airport waiting; shared stops, snow and busy changeover days can make the journey longer.

Choose the Morzine–Les Gets or Portes du Soleil map

There are two useful maps to keep handy here. The Morzine–Les Gets map covers the Pleney side; the wider Portes du Soleil map helps with an outing towards Avoriaz and beyond. The official page below has both, including the 2026–27 local edition.

Map resources checked on 22 October 2026. Always pair the current diagram with the operator’s live lift information.

Why are there two different maps?

Morzine–Les Gets is not the same ticket or geographic scope as the whole Portes du Soleil. The operator’s map page separates the local download from the wider interactive map. Start with the area you are actually entitled and able to ski.

If your course uses Pleney, a full-domain diagram can make the first morning look more complicated than it needs to be. If experienced friends plan a longer circuit, the wider map becomes useful, but they still need to identify the return connections and closing times.

Can you ski directly between Pleney and Super Morzine?

No: the change of direction involves Morzine village. Pleney leads towards the local Morzine–Les Gets area; Super Morzine is the direction towards Avoriaz. Prodains Express is another Avoriaz access option reached by road. The tourist office’s skiing-access guide explains these entrances.

Do not interpret two nearby lift symbols as a continuous piste through the town. Use the seasonal shuttle resources for the land transfer and the actual winter timetable for your dates.

Which map helps you choose accommodation?

Locate the lift or lesson meeting point first, then the property. Staying near Pleney, Super Morzine or the Prodains access road creates a different daily routine. Our Morzine resort guide compares those choices and explains why a central address is not automatically ski-in/ski-out.

The geographic map on this page can help locate nearby services, but community listings are not a guarantee of opening hours or a safe walking route in winter. Confirm a school meeting point from the booking rather than guessing from the nearest rental-shop marker.

Before leaving for another sector

Check the day’s connection status, your pass coverage and the last lifts required to return. Plan a meeting point suitable for the least experienced skier joining that part of the trip. An offline piste image is useful orientation, but it cannot confirm a wind closure or a changed timetable.
