Meet Anja
Ski Instructor | Alpine Skiing Specialist | Mountain Enthusiast
Anja Keller has spent the best part of three decades on skis, and she's still happiest when there's fresh snow underfoot and a mountain to explore.
Originally from the Swiss Alps, Anja grew up skiing before she could properly appreciate just how lucky she was to have the mountains on her doorstep. What started as a childhood obsession eventually became a career, and she's spent over 20 years teaching everyone from nervous first-timers to confident skiers looking to tackle more challenging terrain.
Her approach to skiing is refreshingly straightforward. Good technique matters, but so does having fun, knowing your limits, and understanding the mountain. She's particularly passionate about helping intermediate skiers build their confidence, improve their technique, and venture beyond the familiar blue runs.
When she's not teaching, you'll usually find her exploring quieter pistes, hunting down a good mountain restaurant, or enjoying a well-earned drink in the afternoon sunshine.
Through her writing, Anja shares the practical advice, little tricks, and hard-earned lessons that only come from spending thousands of hours on snow.
Her skiing philosophy? "The best skier on the mountain isn't necessarily the fastest. It's the one who's enjoying themselves the most."
